Additional Mathematics (Certificate Level)

1. Develop logical and independent thinking
2. Acquire basic techniques for mathematical calculations.
3. Understand and memorize mathematical formulae and theorems.
4. Apply formulae/ theorems to calculations.
5. A good grade in Additional Mathematics is an advantage in the study of F6 science and tertiary institutes.

HKCE Examination

1. There is only 1 paper of 2.5 hours.
2. There are 2 sections.
1. Section A consists of around 12 compulsory short questions
2. Section B consists of 5 long questions. Candidates are expected to answer 4 questions only.
